Project description: The Body Issue (Bloom Explore) is a project aimed at engaging people in the ongoing climate and biodiversity crisis in a reflective, inspirational, and positive way. The project explores alternative ways of communicating about the natural world, investigating the potential of illustration, photography, layout design, materiality, and curation in the medium of a printed magazine. By combining scientific articles, artistic works and essays, the project intentions are to create an engaging publication that sparks curiosity and interest in the environment. The project furthermore questions how an online platform (Bloom Explore) can be translated into a physical form, and how the translation can add an extra dimension to the experience of the content
